Wasl is a government-owned real estate and asset management company based in Dubai. It was formed in 2008 when two large government departments merged and since then, it has become one of the city's largest landlords, managing tens of thousands of homes and offices. The name Wasl actually means connection in Arabic, a nod to Dubai’s history as a trading hub that connects diverse cultures and markets.
