The Archive by Imtiaz at DLRC
Imtiaz The Archive is a planned residential building by Imtiaz Developments in Dubai Land Residence Complex (DLRC), Wadi Al Safa 5, Dubailand, Dubai. The project stands at the planning stage of its lifecycle, which places today’s buyers at the opening chapter of the development. DLRC is a mixed-use freehold community at the intersection of Al Ain Road (E66) and Emirates Road (E611), built as an apartment district with a mix of ready and off-plan buildings.
The community operates as a self contained district. Its master plan carries parks, libraries, mosques, hotels, a police station, a post office, schools, medical centres, daycare facilities, local plazas and community shopping hubs. Two nurseries and The Aquila School work inside the community, clinics operate within it, and five supermarkets trade across its buildings. Directly across Al Ain Road, Dubai Silicon Oasis brings residential towers, tech hubs and gated villa enclaves to DLRC’s doorstep, while Downtown Dubai and Business Bay run about 20 minutes away by car. The buyer entering The Archive today buys into a working community, not a promise of one.
The Archive by Imtiaz is positioned in Wadi Al Safa 5, the district that carries Dubai Land Residence Complex within the wider Dubailand area of Dubai. The community holds the ground at the intersection of Dubai Al Ain Road (E66) and Emirates Road (E611), two arterial highways that frame it on the map. Dubai Silicon Oasis lies directly across Al Ain Road on the eastern side, The Villa community borders it to the south west with its Spanish style homes, and the E66 corridor runs straight toward Downtown Dubai, DIFC, Business Bay and Dubai World Trade Centre. On a Dubai map, the project marks the point where the city’s central districts hand over to its growth belt, close enough to reach everything, far enough to price differently.
Transport in Dubai Land Residence Complex today runs on roads and buses. Private cars carry most residents, with parking on ground and basement levels of the buildings and open visitor parking spread across the community. Public transport is served by RTA Bus 30, with stops at Windsor Residence, Ajmal Sarah Tower and Nilona Residence, each reachable within a 3 to 5 minute drive, and the route runs through to Dubai Mall Metro Station for citywide connections. Bus 66 and Bus 67 add a stop at the International Centre for Biosaline Agriculture on the community’s edge. No metro station operates inside DLRC at present, and the nearest metro access takes 20 to 25 minutes by car. That changes on 9 September 2029, when the Blue Line opens with a Dubai Silicon Oasis station and an Academic City terminus in the corridor beside the community.
- Young families. Chubby Cheeks and Step by Step nurseries operate inside DLRC, The Aquila School teaches across Desert Sun Tower and GEMS FirstPoint covers ages 3 to 18 in The Villa next door, so the school run takes minutes.
- Professionals working the E66 corridor. Dubai Silicon Oasis lies directly across Al Ain Road, and Downtown Dubai, DIFC, Business Bay and Dubai World Trade Centre connect straight through E66 and E611.
- Overseas and NRI investors. DLRC is a freehold area where UAE nationals and foreign investors hold full ownership, with no residency conditions attached to the purchase.
- Early stage off plan buyers. The project stands at the planning stage, the earliest point of entry a development lifecycle offers.
- Who it does not suit. Daily metro commuters, since the nearest station today is 20 to 25 minutes away by car until the Blue Line opens in the corridor in September 2029.
Driving times from the community, as published by Bayut:
- Dubai Silicon Oasis tech hubs and offices, directly across Al Ain Road, around 9 minutes
- Downtown Dubai approximately 20 minutes via Al Ain Road (E66)
- Business Bay approximately 20 minutes
- DIFC and Dubai World Trade Centre direct run on the E66 corridor
- Dubai International Airport around 25 minutes by car
For anyone whose office is in the Downtown, Business Bay or DIFC belt, the commute is a single highway with no interchanges to plan around, and Silicon Oasis workers barely leave the neighbourhood.
- The Aquila School. UK curriculum, across Desert Sun Tower inside the community, which turns the daily school run into a few minutes and hands parents back their mornings.
- GEMS FirstPoint School. British curriculum for ages 3 to 18 in neighbouring The Villa, covering a child’s entire schooling life without ever changing commute.
- Chubby Cheeks and Step by Step nurseries. Both inside DLRC, so working parents manage drop off and pick up without touching a highway.
- Silicon Central Mall. In adjacent Silicon Oasis, a two level shop, eat and play destination with a hypermarket, cinema and cafes, close enough for an unplanned evening out.
- Dubai Outlet Mall. Around 240 stores with discounted international brands, 15 minutes away, which keeps big shopping days short and family budgets healthier.
- Ace Medical Centres. In Skycourts Tower near the community, putting routine care within the neighbourhood instead of across the city.
- Dubai London Clinic. In The Villa next door, a second nearby option for family healthcare.
- Mediclinic Parkview Hospital. Full hospital services in Al Barsha South, about 20 minutes away for anything beyond clinic care.
Together this list means a resident of The Archive schools their children, shops, dines and handles healthcare within a 15 minute radius, and that radius is what defines the standard of living here more than any single amenity.
